According to gegonota.news, the mayor and the president of the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company (DEYA) will be summoned to provide explanations to the prosecutor. The DEYA president is reportedly assigning responsibility to employees. Meanwhile, new results from the National Public Health Organisation (EODY) are awaited.

The report states that DEYA is investigating the cause of contamination in the boreholes supplying the villages. Mayor Nasikas has not appeared in the area, where water is being distributed to residents. The local Health Center continues to receive citizens with symptoms, and the regional governor is expected to hold a press conference on the issue.

EODY recently issued an announcement about the spike in gastroenteritis cases in Magnesia. Additionally, the General Hospital of Volos reported that a woman admitted with septic shock and gastroenteritis symptoms has died.
