The two-day event will take place at the Trianon cinema, 21 Kodrigktonos Street, Athens, near Victoria station on Line 1. Albanese and Varoufakis will revisit the issue of the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, being carried out by Israel with the co-operation and complicity of the West.
The events begin on Saturday 2 May at 6pm with a screening of Chris Cotteret’s film Disunited Nations. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director, Francesca Albanese, Yanis Varoufakis and the audience.
On Sunday 3 May at 7pm, Albanese will return to the Trianon to speak with Varoufakis on the occasion of her book’s release. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Natalie Hatziantoniou.
The event will be preceded by an open press conference that Albanese will give to Greek journalists and foreign press correspondents.
