They are a producer and two employees of the Declaration Reception Centres (KYD), which process farmers’ subsidy applications. The remaining nine defendants were released under restrictive conditions.
The case concerns subsidies allegedly granted on the basis of false declarations and fake or inaccurate data between 2019 and 2024. The case file covers a total of 12 individuals from Kozani and Agrinio, who were called to explain their role in the disputed procedures.
The restrictive conditions imposed on the nine who were released include a ban on leaving the country and the payment of financial guarantees ranging from 5,000 to 15,000 euros, depending on each person’s involvement in the case.
