Tosonidou said Chantzis is already being treated in the short-stay hospitalisation unit and will be transferred to the 2nd Pathology Clinic.
Speaking outside Gennimatas hospital, where Chantzis is being treated, Tosonidou said: ‘We express our full solidarity with the hunger striker Aristotelis Chantzis. We call on the state to finally satisfy the hunger striker’s demands so that we do not have the first death of a hunger striker in Greece. He is already hospitalised in the short-stay hospitalisation unit and will be transferred to the 2nd Pathology Clinic. We call on the state to do the right thing. Victory to his struggle.’
