The Financial and Economic Crimes Unit hopes to gain direct access to millions of bank accounts within the next month, in order –according to its point of view- to be able to detect immediately where the “black money” from tax evasion is found.

The moments of the murder of the two Golden Dawn members are captured on CCTV. The perpetrator walks decisively towards his victims and shoots with a steady hand, according to the CCTV footage. The motorcycle that was used by the killers has been wiped clean, so there are no any traces of DNA.

The government is going to negotiations with the surplus as a bargaining chip
PM Samaras rules out any decision for new horizontal measures.
With the October surplus as a bargaining chip, the Greek government is ready to meet the creditors today. Last night the cabinet decided, upon the recommendation of the PM, to insist that the surplus is growing faster than expected during the last months and especially in October. Therefore, the fiscal gap –which according to Greek government is not more than €500-700 million- only needs to be covered by structural measures.

In the agenda of negotiations between the Greek government and the troika:
Merger of EAS [Hellenic Defensive Systems] and ELVO [Hellenic Vehicles Industry] and 800-1000 dismissals.
According to sources, 1000 employees will be sacrificed so that the prerequisite agreements of the memorandum will be satisfied, while EAS and ELVO will be merged, as the troika and the Greek government have agreed.

Tax evasion
Finance Ministry succeeded to collect only €755 million from a total €14.5 billion in fines from tax evasion. The rest of it has ended up in the overdue loans “pool” which has reached the amount of €62 billion.
