The elections will happen, the ballot boxes will be waiting, the entire infrastructure will be on standby . Yet the voters do not seem very enthusiastic about the coming “Feast of Democracy”.
According to the LSE analysts, the electoral fatigue of the voters is so grave that it would not be a surprise if abstention from the elections reaches record numbers.
Looking at the polls, the same analysts believe that the result will be extremely close, as the two major candidates seem to be neck by neck in the electoral race.
Nevertheless , whatever the result, it will lead to a stable government and a period of calm, something that Greece desperately needs.
