The creditors asked Greece to withdraw its' “parallel program”, a set of bills which had mainly administrative applications and were advertised by the government as an effort to lighten the burden of the bailout austerity. The creditors decided that the program had not been budgeted for and thus it could not be accepted.

The parties of the opposition spoke of a government which is unable to pass any sort of legislation without the creditors' permission.

The main opposition party of Nea Dimokratia made an announcement that said:”today's government wreck will persuade everybody that Mr.Tsipra's treasure was, indeed, fools-gold. In order to put an end to the country's downfall we ask the Prime Minister to take responsibility. We ask Mr.Tsipras to confess that he is not able to rule the country and to do what is necessary in order to overcome the country's political program.

Other opposition parties accused Mr.Tsipras of creating an “advertisement con” and that he is unable to drive any kind of negotiation with the country's creditors.
