“I can ascertain that the institutions have received the plan for the reformation of the public insurance and pension scheme from the Greek authorities on Monday night” while he added that, once the proposal has been evaluated, contacts with the Greek government will commence.

Mr. Schinas also mentioned that “the assessment will be conducted within the framework of the first evaluation of the Greek program” which will begin within January. Nevertheless he did not clarify when the representatives of the institutions will be in Athens.
