Alexis Tsipras, Prime Minister of Greece is expected to address the parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg on Wednesday
The Council of Europe has 47 member states and this year’s summer session of its Parliamentary Assembly focuses on several issues including terrorism and the refugee crisis. The assembly is set to debate on Wednesday a report titled “Refugees at risk in Greece”.
At the parliamentary assembly participate parliamentary representatives of all member states.
The Greek Prime Minister will also meet with Thorbjorn Jagland, the secretary-general of the Council of Europe, before addressing the assembly.
