It is often the case that what the public thinks about an issue depends a great deal on the way the question is asked. Many times we ask ourselves: “are they manipulating the wording of questions to get the responses they want”? How many times didn’t you wonder about the political motivations of the media or the party that sponsored the polling?
But, if done correctly, polling is a powerful tool that can open a valuable window to the public. So we ask you to support us conduct our own unbiased and independent election poll.
It is time to conduct our own polling.
We asked Public Issue -one of the leading opinion polling companies in Greece- to conduct a scientific poll that will not only assess party preference or voting intensions but that will include questions that seek to investigate issues or policies, candidate traits and performances.
To make this happen, we will organize a live TV debate in which the audience can ask questions to our polling experts and together we can define the nature of the survey questions and the methodology to be used. This will guarantee transparency.
The cost of such an effort is estimated to 7,000 euros, an amount that unfortunately we are not able to cover without your support. But we could make it happen through crowdfunding. This is why we created this campaign on Indiegogo.
