Ilias Stathatos is a journalist from Greece and graduate of sociology. He has worked at newspaper “Dromos” as an international editor covering among else the Syrian and the Egyptian imbroglio and the birth of the Spanish Indignados movement, interviewed Tariq Ali and many more. Also, has done labor reportage, reporting from the nexus of the greek economy, and also covered the seething cauldron that Greek society was in the first years after the imposition of the memorandum. Now, when he is not dreaming of vast steppes or huge mountains, he works in the International section of the Press Project.
