The Forum for European Journalism Students (FEJS) is an international organization dedicated to the exchange of information between European Journalism students, young professionals and even citizens interested in the journalism field.

The Annual Congress is the main event of the Forum for European Journalism Students. It takes place every year in spring (usually April/May) in a different European city and is based around a specific topic. Around 100 journalism students and young journalists from all over Europe are attending this event to participate in workshops, lectures and discussions.

This year’s Annual Congress will be held in Athens, Greece from 16 to 21 April. The topic has been titled Stereotypes, Media Exclusion & Far-right Rhetoric in European Media.

The aim is to explore these themes through an academic and practical approach and come to understand how the dynamic of minority – political, ethnic, sexual orientation, disabled etc, has shaped the way european media content is produced and circulated by or because of it.
