Serious delays in privatization process

Troika, meeting the administrators of Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund, expressed its dissatisfaction for the delay on the privatization process. Although it was agreed in July that Port of Athens, Port of Thessaloniki, Hellenic Post and Electricity Company must be privatized, no one of them have yet.

Berlin Institute IFO: Germany’s welfare, distress for the South

As German economy grows, the economic gap in Europe between North and South deepens, according to Institute IFO in Berlin.  It also notes that the situation in the countries of the European South remains in “crisis levels”.
