Officials from the Brussels Group anonymously say that a very small number of matters remain unsolved in order for the agreement to be closed,
 
Earlier on, a Eurozone official had told anampa.gr that “…time is running out.” Yet  he also clarified that there was no set time limit.
 
The Spanish “El Mundo” claims that the German Chancellor Angela Merkel intervened in order to secure that progress will achieved and a deal will be closed.
 
Under the title “Political Agreement for Greece,” El Mundo calls on information by diplomatic sources of the highest level who assure that a decision for a deal has been made by the political leaders of the EU.
 
It goes on to estimate that a deal could get an approval by Sunday in order to be ratified by special Eurogroup.
 
Speaking on Vima radio, the Greek Minister of Finance, Yanis Varoufakis said that “we are close to a finalization of the evaluation by the institutions.”  He went on to explain that the final date in order to achieve a deal would be July the 30th when the rescue program finally ends.
