News website zougla.gr aired a 45-second long video late Monday, clearly portraying how the Golden Dawn shootings happened, along with the deadly aftermath. It is unclear whether the video was captured by a building CCTV or traffic camera. Police denies having leaked it, even though it is clear that the images of the perpetrator released Monday were screengrabs from the same source. Some allege that the video was leaked to the website by Golden Dawn themselves and that it was footage from the party's branch CCTV. In the video, the four Golden Dawn members were standing in the street corner when the perpetrator opened fire against them from medium range. Alexandros Gerontas, 29 who remains hospitalised in serious condition and a fourth member managed to run away while George Foundoulis, 27 and Manolis Kapelonis, 22 were shot at point blank. The perpetrator did not stop shooting until both were lying down, and even finished one of them off while standing on top of him, before fleeing the scene with his accomplice.

The scenes confirm earlier police reports that the shooting took place in under ten seconds and witnesses stating that it was cold blooded murder, the perp's intent clearly to kill.

Earlier on Monday afternoon, Greek Police officially released a video from a different angle, where one can barely distinguish the killer running away moments after the incident. The manhunt to track down the perpetrators is ongoing.
