The prime minister came face to face with a pro-Palestine activist in Canada during his stay there. As seen in a video posted on X, the activist first made sure she had the Greek prime minister in front of her. Then she told him, “You are complicit in the genocide of the Palestinians”.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis, clearly taken aback, replied “Are you serious?”, with her continuing “What else are you doing? Why don’t you impose sanctions on Israel? 40,000 Palestinians are dead. Place an arms embargo! You should be ashamed, you have the blood of 14,000 Palestinian children on your hands. How can you look at yourself in the mirror? Israel is a terrorist state.”
