“We are at a critical juncture because we have overwhelming evidence in our hands, which the investigator stubbornly refuses to examine,” Karystianou declared. “We will compel him to perform his duties, or he will face legal action and be disqualified. This is under serious consideration. Anyone obstructing the administration of justice is complicit in guilt. That is clear.”

In a passionate speech, Karystianou emphasised her conviction that the laws must be enforced, even if it means challenging the very officials tasked with upholding them.

“The laws will be implemented, even if we must repeatedly remove those entrusted with their enforcement,” she said. “There are bold judges ready to rule and courageous lawyers willing to speak the truth. These aren’t just words—they are actions already underway.”

She reiterated her commitment to uncovering the truth about the Tempe disaster, which claimed dozens of lives in 2023.

“In the crime of Tempe, the truth will prevail and serve as the foundation for creating a new society, where such behaviours will be a shameful minority,” Karystianou added.

Her speech concluded with a rallying call: “For our country, for justice, for the rule of law, for our brighter future, for our living children, and for those who live on within us.” The declaration was met with resounding applause from the audience.

In a video shared on social media, Karystianou can be seen reiterating her statement:
“We have a lot of evidence in our hands, and the investigator insists on not wanting to see it. If he doesn’t do his job, he will be sued and removed. Anyone who obstructs the administration of justice is complicit in guilt.”
