Speaking from the scene, Christos Katsotis, a member of the KKE Central Committee and a Member of Parliament, declared:
“From here, from the Acropolis – a monument of world culture – we denounce the inhumanity and barbarity of the murderous state of Israel against the people of Palestine, in a genocide carried out with the complicity of the US and the EU. No one can remain silent. The people’s struggle must be strengthened by demanding that the government stop all cooperation with the murderous state of Israel and recognise the state of Palestine, in line with the unanimous decision taken by Parliament in 2015.”
