According to ERT, the crash occurred at around 19:10. Bystanders attempted to give first aid, but when an EKAB ambulance arrived, the man had already been declared dead.
The driver of the car has been detained and a blood sample was taken to determine whether he had consumed alcohol or other substances.
The Agia Paraskevi Traffic Police are conducting the investigation into the causes of the accident.
