The spokeswoman of the Commission confirmed that the EuroWorking Group came to a wide agreement regarding the next set of prior actions that the Greek government will have to legislate in order to "unlock" the next loan installment, worth 1bn euro. She went on to explain that according to the commission these reforms, which aim at the reformation of the Public Pension Scheme are crucial.
Mina Andreeva stressed that this, second package of prior actions will have to be applied until the middle of December if the 1bn euro installment is to be given to Greece.
The general directions of the prior actions were drawn in the EuroWorking Group and the remaining details will be completed so that the first evaluation of Greece's progress will become possible,
The spokeswoman clarified that the Commission considers the reforms on the Greek pension scheme to be of critical importance while it has offered technical assistance to Greece in order to prepare and complete the reforms.
