BDS Greece further alleges that two Egyptian sympathisers, Mohamed and Ahmed, remain in custody three days after the incident, despite presenting legal residency documents. Mohamed is reportedly being held at the Chalandri Police Station, while Ahmed is at the Agios Panteleimon Police Station, where he has allegedly been subjected to mistreatment.
“We have been informed that Ahmed was abused by Greek police officers and continues to face ill-treatment. We remain vigilant regarding the safety and health of the detained solidarity supporter in Agios Panteleimon,” BDS Greece stated.
The organisation has demanded the immediate release of both individuals, noting that no charges have been filed against them and that they possess valid legal documentation.
