Speaking during the debate on the bill for housing and work for the homeless, she expressed deep disappointment with the verdict, which cleared 15 key defendants, including associates of Prime Minister Mitsotakis and former regional governor Mrs. Dourou, while handing down minor and suspended sentences to others.

Konstantopoulou highlighted her concerns over judicial impartiality, questioning how the same judge could preside over three interconnected cases: Faliro, the wildfires in Mati and the floods in Mandra. Her remarks underscore a call for scrutiny into the judicial processes that led to what she perceives as a failure to appropriately attribute criminal responsibility for the tragic events in Mati.
