
Another case of femicide occurred in Sindos, Thessaloniki, on Wednesday (12/03). A man killed his wife before jumping from the second floor of their apartment building.
According to initial reports from the Hellenic Police, as cited by GRTIMES, the 53-year-old man attacked his 44-year-old wife with a sharp object, inflicting multiple wounds that led to her death.
Following the attack, he jumped from the second-floor balcony of their apartment in Sindos, sustaining severe injuries.
Emergency services, including a strong police presence and ambulances from the National Emergency Centre (EKAB), arrived at the scene after being alerted at 13:15 on Wednesday afternoon (12/3).
The 53-year-old was taken to hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Hellenic Police are currently investigating this latest case of femicide.
