The resolution demands, in accordance with international and national law, as well as the Geneva Protocol and the Genocide Convention:

Immediate termination of all arms sales, diplomatic cover, trade agreements and state support to Israel.

Full compliance with the 2024 International Court of Justice ruling and the Genocide Convention.

A comprehensive, two-way arms embargo on Israel and its trading partners.

Companies, universities, academic institutions and pension funds to sever all ties with Israel and immediately suspend all collaborations.

The media to report truthfully and be held accountable.

Accountability for war crimes and violations of international law.

Immediate release of all Palestinian hostages.

‘“We the People Rise” is a public commitment to stand with the Palestinian people, to withdraw from systems of complicity, and to act through divestment, boycott, direct pressure on institutions, and denial of normalisation, until these systems can no longer function,’ March to Gaza said in a social media post.

The resolution in full:

‘We the People are rising up against Israel’s impunity and global complicity.

‘We the People rise up and stand in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for independence, justice and freedom.

‘We the People call things by their proper name: genocide, ethnic cleansing and discrimination against Palestinians for more than 75 years, alongside the orchestrated expansion of illegal settlements aimed at “greater Israel”, in open view and with wilful impunity.

‘We the People recognise that the Zionist totality of settler-colonial military occupation is maintained not only by force, but is made possible by the active complicity of governments, organisations and institutions.

‘We the People recognise that brave and courageous people are rising up in every corner of the globe to stand against impunity and demand accountability despite oppression and state repression, including attempts to criminalise their actions and strip them of their right to freedom of speech. This includes the recent violent Israeli attack on the International Fleet in international waters near Europe in April 2026.

‘This happens when impunity is aided by silence and complicity.

‘In accordance with international and national laws, as well as the Geneva Protocol and the Genocide Convention, We the People demand:

‘Immediate termination of all arms sales, diplomatic cover, trade agreements and state support to Israel.

‘Full compliance with the 2024 International Court of Justice ruling and the Genocide Convention.

‘A comprehensive, two-way arms embargo on Israel and its trading partners.

‘Companies, universities, academic institutions and pension funds to sever all ties with Israel and immediately suspend all collaborations.

‘The media to report truthfully and be held accountable.

‘Accountability for war crimes and violations of international law.

‘Immediate release of all Palestinian hostages.

‘We the People recognise that this genocide extends to land, water, culture, education and language, in an attempt to erase a people and its future.

‘We the People commit ourselves to:

‘Building power from the grassroots in our workplaces, universities, streets and communities.

‘Withdrawing economically, socially, culturally and politically from Zionism in the spirit of BDS.

‘Supporting accountability measures, including legal action against institutions that profit from genocide.

‘Making complicity too costly to continue.

‘We will not wait for permission to act and we will not stop until complicity collapses and Palestine is free.

‘We pledge to hold power accountable until justice is done and dignity, equality and freedom are ensured for all people.

‘We the People stand in our diversity, united in collective strength.

‘We rise up with the certainty that accountability and justice must prevail.

‘Palestine will be free.’
