In a coordinated effort led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and supported by the Ministries of Defence, Health, and the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, Greece has delivered a consignment of medical supplies and basic necessities. The aid was transported via an Air Force C-130 aircraft, underscoring Greece’s commitment to humanitarian assistance.
“Greece will continue to coordinate its efforts with the Lebanese government, aiming to provide extensive humanitarian relief to civilians,” the Foreign Ministry stated.
To ensure the safe arrival of this aid, commandos from the Special Warfare Command accompanied the mission, reinforcing security for both personnel and equipment.
