The main differences between the participants in the negotiations remain on the policies regarding those loans which have stopped being paid due to the financial crisis.

Concerning the public pension scheme the Greek side claims that it has achieved to secure that the lowest possible pension will be €384 while there will be no cuts in the main pensions. Problems still remain the percentage of substitution as well as the increase in the insurance costs .

While addressing the AIPAC annual  meeting in America, The Minister of Defense, P.Kamenos stated that “The IMF will provide with those solutions, which will be politically helped from the USA, so that the country will be helped to exit the bailout deal before the 1st March”.

Dombrovskis: A lot remains to be done 
The European commissioner for the euro, V.Dombrovskis called the reforms of the public pension schemes and the privatizations as “thorn” and mentioned that “a lot remains to be done in Greece”.
