During his meeting with the Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa, Greek PM Alexis Tsipras pointed out that Europe is facing a crisis on multiple areas; the economic crisis is one of them, but refugee/ migration and safety crisis are equally pressing. “All these difficulties oblige us to move forward in order to promote an alternative agenda. And it is now more necessary than ever to promote an alternative agenda of solidarity, social cohesion and democracy” he said.

Alexis Tsipras and Antonio Costa signed a joint declaration against austerity for a progressive democratic Europe.
