According to Reuters, based on ECB financial data, in the period 2009-2013, the citizens of Ireland lost 18.000 euro per person, Greeks lost almost 17.000 while Spaniards lost around 13.000 euro. The major reason for these losses is the huge drop of the real estate market.

On the contrary, in Germany and Holland, during the same time, the per capita wealth saw an increase of 19.000 and 33.000 respectively.

The data ascertain the huge social and economical inequalities within the Eurozone. At the same time, the ECB seems to recognize this gap.
