Kypseli residents to receive support over metro-related building damage

Doukas said the Municipality of Athens would provide financial and psychological support to those affected.

The municipality will cover the cost of two independent experts selected by residents, a mining engineer and a civil engineer, who will assess the condition of the buildings.

Residents will also have immediate access to a specialist psychological support service at the Kypseli Multipurpose Municipal Clinic, located at 4 Chania Street.

Discussions with all the relevant authorities are continuing. The issue is expected to be raised again at the next Athens Municipal Council meeting on 29 July, with representatives of the relevant ministry and Hellenic Metro due to attend, Doukas said.
