According to the Golden Dawn Observatory, during his examination by the prosecutor, Lagos declared:
“I declare myself a Nazi! Are you going to put me on trial for this? Let’s finish with this! I’ve never said it before, but I’ll say it now: you’re pushing me to my limit with these questions. I’m a National Socialist! Stop making fools of yourselves, declare me guilty and be done with it. You have this ridiculous witness here, you should be ashamed, you’re ridiculing yourselves.”
After delivering his incendiary remarks, Lagos stormed out of the courtroom, continuing his pattern of theatrical displays.
