‘We stand by the flotilla and by the Palestinian people fighting for their freedom,’ the party said in a statement, calling for the immediate intervention of the Greek government ‘to protect the crews and the mission’.
‘The terrorist state of Israel is proceeding with yet another act of international piracy, this time even more shamelessly before our eyes, in broad daylight, and is illegally attacking the Global Sumud Flotilla solidarity fleet, in which Greek citizens are also participating,’ MeRA25 said.
‘We stand by the flotilla and by the Palestinian people who are fighting for their freedom. We denounce Israel’s attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla and call for the immediate intervention of the Greek government to protect the crews and the mission,’ the party added.
MeRA25 also called for participation in a rally outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens at 6pm, as well as in gatherings and demonstrations across Greece.
‘Stop Israel’s piracy now. Let the Solidarity Flotilla reach Gaza. No cooperation with the genocidal state. Freedom for Palestine!’ the party said.
