Camp director Vassilis Lyritsis said in an interview to ‘Kokkino 105.5’ radio station that the center cannot receive funding because authorities still have not appointed an administration board.
It is not the first time the center is in turmoil. In 2010, 38 refugees went on hunger strike protesting not having received food or medicine for days.
In a totally different development, last August Greek anti-terrorist police raided the center, looking for members of a political party banned in Turkey.
