New refugee shipwreck off Lesbos leaves at least seven dead

Another refugee boat has sunk off the coast of Lesbos, near Skala Sykamias, on the moring of Thursday, 3 March. So far, seven people have been confirmed dead, while one person is still missing.
According to reports, a boat carrying a total of 31 people capsized in the waters near Skala Sykamias. A helicopter has located seven bodies, and 23 people have been rescued. Search efforts are still underway to find the missing person.
Greek broadcaster ERT reports that among the deceased are three women, one man, a young girl, and a young boy.
