European Commission Vice President Valois Dombrovskis said in an interview with Bloomberg in Brussels on Thursday the next bailout tranche to Greece is possibly going to happen this month, also commenting on the general outlook of the Greek economy
“We expect this to happen already this month, probably somewhere mid-month or so” Mr. Dombrovskis said adding that “only a few issues” needed to be clarified before national parliaments can start voting on the disbursement of aid.
Euro and Social Dialogue Commissioner also expressed his estimation that Greece will return to growth in the second semester of 2016.
Mr. Dombrovskis also said he feels optimistic about a positive outcome regarding the UK referendum on June 23 about whether to remain or leave the EU, also stating that if Britain votes to exit, the negotiations for it could last several years.
