In a short video message to the Greek electorate, Pablo Iglesias, the leader of Spain's Podemos party, says there are two candidates in the Greek national elections: 'Angela Merkel, who is supported by Pasok and New Democracy' and 'a Greek', Alexis Tsipras, the leader of main opposition and anti-bailout party,Syriza.

Iglesias urges voters to back Tsipras.

Podemos is a leftist upstart party founded in 2014 by Iglesias, a writer, professor, and talk show guest.

A poll published on Sunday showed that Podemos is in the lead to win Spain's next general election, which could result in the formation of party pacts, or even the country's first coalition government.
