A rallying call for patriots and democrats

The European elections are a referendum for our lives, for the abolition of the Memoranda, for Greece, for Europe

Alexis Tsipras, speaking to the largest crowd drawn by SYRIZA in Omonia Square, issued an invitation for every citizen of the country, regardless of their political background and who they voted for until yesterday, to rise to the historical challenge and leave behind the ‘old world’ of Samaras and Venizelos. Sunday’s dilemma, he noted, is clear and real: SYRIZA now or austerity without end, dignity now or subjugation without end. On Sunday the people can win by supporting SYRIZA’s ballot, it can send a message of change, to stop the downward slide and open the road to rebuilding the country and dignity.
