Brussels blackmailing Greece

While in Athens, talks with troika representatives were one step before bearing fruit, Brussels were blackmailing Greece. Thomas Wieser, head of the Euro Working Group was arguing that the two sides are “miles apart” and saw a deal happening “after skiing holidays”.

With unemployment breaking every record in Greece and Europe because of the recession and the austerity that… the EU leaders are trying to combat the crisis with, they just realized yesterday in Paris that they need to move swiftly to tackle the phenomenon. Antonis Samaras, under the cold gaze of Angela Merkel, acknowledged that the Greek society is “exhausted” from the prolonged austerity. But the jobs are still missing.
