‘33 MEPs from the Left, the Greens, the Socialists and the independents are bringing the issue of the Alexandras Avenue Prosfygika to the European Commission.

In official documents, the complex appears as “empty”, despite being inhabited by more than 400 people, including children, refugees and other vulnerable social groups.

We ask the European Commission to examine the project’s compliance with European legislation, the participation of residents and civil society in decision-making processes, as well as the use of European funds for a project that may lead to displacements.

The Alexandras Avenue Prosfygika are now on the European agenda.’
