The latest statement by the Belgian minister of health rises the number of dead to 34. 14 were killed at the airport and 81 were wounded. The administration of the Belgian Metro reported that 20 people were killed and 55 were injured in the bombing.
The airports of France, England, Germany, Holland, Greece and other European countries are reported to have entered heightened security stata.
The Belgian foreign minister, Didier Reynders stated that the fears of the Belgian authorities have been confirmed in that there were still unspotted terrorists walking free since the Paris attacks. He went on to note that the danger is not over and that there are still individuals who could perform terrorist attacks any time, even now.
The Belgian police authorities have asked the media to refrain from reporting the whereabouts of their ongoing investigations.
