The new pricing list, set to take effect on August 26, includes significant price hikes for 843 medications, with around 700 seeing increases of more than 10% and 570 rising by 20% or more. The majority of these price adjustments range between €1 and €5.
Some of the most notable increases include:
- Stedon: From €2.28 to €9.95
- Amoxil: From €3.58 to €4.81
- Augmentin: From €5.94 to €7.48
- Zovirax: From €6.43 to €8.45
- Ceclor: From €4.49 to €7.06
- Voltaren: From €1.51 to €3.32
- Tavor: From €1.00 to €2.19
- Lasix: From €1.96 to €2.70
- Apotel: From €3.85 to €5.61
- Salospir: From €1.17 to €2.08
These increases are expected to place an additional financial burden on patients, particularly those requiring long-term medication. The new prices will come into force from August 26, as stipulated by the recent ministerial decision.
