In putting together this feature, we turned to individuals who have been following the crisis in Greece and have written about it, and not solely from a journalistic perspective. We sought the opinions of distinguished specialists in a number of fields in the hopes of generating a debate that would more comprehensively pose the question of what the crisis has meant for Greece over these last eight years. What are the lessons that we can we take from it? What are the mistakes that we made during its course, and which might somehow explain the overwhelming defeat of the anti-bailout front at this stage?

One thread that runs throughout these pieces is reflectiveness on how we have spoken about the crisis. Where are the blind spots in the public discourse? What do we think about, using which tools, and with what implications?

The feature is bilingual, and will continue to be expanded in coming weeks.
