The party stated:
‘The attack by Israeli navy forces against the international solidarity flotilla Global Sumud Flotilla constitutes an act of piracy, which violates every concept of international law.
‘These actions must stop immediately. The solidarity flotilla, which also includes Greek citizens, must reach its destination, Gaza, safely. Israel has no right to behave as an international troublemaker.
‘We demand that the Greek government take all necessary steps to protect the flotilla’s crews.’
