Tempe case: At least 5 OSE executives are allegedly involved in tampering

Mega Channel's news report has revealed that between five and eight employees and executives of the Hellenic Railways Organisation (OSE) are allegedly implicated in the case of tampering with conversation records. This development surfaces amidst public demonstrations calling for justice on the anniversary of the tragic train collision in the Tempe Valley, which resulted in 57 fatalities on February 28, 2024.
Further to the four initially implicated OSE staff, the report suggests the potential involvement of an additional four executives. OSE’s President and Managing Director, Panagiotis Terezakis, has highlighted the electronic communications of those implicated, urging a thorough investigation into the emails they exchanged.
The ongoing judicial investigation seeks to ascertain if the manipulated recordings, supposedly transferred to a USB drive, originated from within OSE’s ranks. Efforts are underway to identify the individual responsible for copying the altered dialogues onto the drive, as the quest for accountability continues amidst a backdrop of national mourning and calls for systemic reform.
