Clashes between refugees and the police occurred in Idomeni when the later attempted to clear the railroad tracks that had been occupied by the first. Things calmed down eventually.
The occupying refugees responded with stone-throwing to the police effort. A woman activist was arrested but the protesters took her out of the car before she was taken to the station.
The refugees remain on the tracks while they have also installed a set of loudspeakers which enables them to express their messages.
