Thessaloniki Metro: New technical issue forces passenger transfer

A new technical issue disrupted Thessaloniki Metro operations this morning, 21 March, as train service between "New Railway Station" and "Sintrivani" stations was limited to Line 2.
According to an announcement from Thema, a malfunction caused trains in this section to run exclusively on Line 2. As a result, passengers had to transfer at “Sintrivani” station to reach their destination.
The issue has since been resolved, and services on Line 1 are now running normally across the entire route.
