The Thessaloniki Metro was temporarily suspended on Friday morning, with all services halted along the entire length of the line.

The services are not operating along the full length of Line 1,” announced the Thessaloniki Metro website, after operations stopped at 11:30 due to a technical issue, the cause of which has not yet been clarified.

According to the company, all passengers on board at the time were safely disembarked without any problems.

Service was restored after 1.5 hours, and according to the company’s website, “services are now running normally along the full length of Line 1.”
