The president of the European Council, Donald Tusk attempted to address the British people, urging them to vote for their country to remain a member of the European Union. During his visit to Lisbon, Pr.Tusk stated that the message of most Europeans towards the British is to:"stay with us".
“Without you, not only Europe, but the whole west will become less strong” he said “we must face the increased challenges of the future all together”.
Mr.Tusk concluded that:”regardless of the outcome of the referendum we must see the future of the Eurozone”. He finished his statements while expressing his displeasure over the increasing euro-skeptic sentiment.
