The spokesperson for the Commission, A.Brighteheart stated that the talks about the closure of the negotiations will continue until Monday. “There are ongoing discussions on every level; technical as well as political and there is daily progress” she stressed, while she repeated that the decision concerning the 2bn euro installment towards Greece will be decided after the evaluation of the Greek legislative work by the institutions (former Troika).

Until this time the main point of disagreement focuses on the demand of the creditors to allow foreclosures to citizens' private property.  A.Brightheart did answer to a relevant question and she noted that the member states will be notified once the institutions have completed the evaluation.

The Commissioner P.Moscovici published a statement where he clarified that “we are at a crucial point” and “critical datelines” are approaching.

Sources from the Greek government informed that A.Tsipras is planning to have a phone conversation with the President of the Commission, J.C.Juncker in order to plead for his political aid towards the decisions which must be taken by the Eurogroup on Monday and the payment of the 2bn installment.
