According to onlarissa.gr, the worker had climbed onto the roof of the building where the shop he worked in was located, in order to carry out maintenance on the company’s chimney.

While he was performing the maintenance work, a section of the roof suddenly gave way. He was unable to hold on and fell, suffering fatal injuries on impact.
