According to a statement from the party’s press office, the article refers to a document, in the form of a cooperation agreement, allegedly drawn up in 2020 between a Tal Dilian partnership and the National Intelligence Service (EYP) that includes references to the lawful use of Predator software.

PASOK notes that, according to the report, the document is cited by the side of the Intellexa owner, who claims that state authorities possessed and used the software.

The party adds that the alleged agreement bears the signatures of both parties but has not become official, as, it says, there was no legal framework in place for the procurement and use of such systems.

In its statement, PASOK describes the appearance of both Tal Dilian and Grigoris Dimitriadis before the Institutions and Transparency Committee as necessary, recalling that it has already submitted a request to that effect. It also calls for the intervention of the judicial authorities to examine the content of the document mentioned in the article.
